HOME / ABOUT US

Welcome to Masjid Umme Hani, a project of MUNA, aimed at creating a space to serve the needs of our community. Our organization is in the State of Florida, the land was purchased in 2017 and came into view in 2020.
The purpose was to build a place of unity, peace, and love for all, regardless of their religion or background. It is a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. We understand the needs of our community, which is why we offer multiple services to meet your needs. From spiritual guidance, social support, educational resources, we are here to help.

The community is diverse, non-sectarian, and open to men and women of all ethnicities, races, and languages who agree to follow its rules, regulations, and procedures.
Masjid Umme Hani also values and actively engages in civic and civil activities with other faith communities and society in general.
We are on a mission to create a community where everyone has complete access to all the Islamic resources and feels safe to worship in our Masjid, where you can connect with the Almighty and find the ultimate satisfaction in your faith. Masjid Umme Hani is a place of unity, peace, and love for all.
Our vision is to provide a strong support system and access to every aspect and valuable resource of Islam to benefit the community. We aim to help the community by providing access to Islamic resources, social events, and mentorship opportunities. A community where everyone can have equal access to resources and support regardless of their religion or background.

Masjid Umme Hani is open for the 5 daily prayers including the Friday Jumu’ah prayers. The Jumu’ah prayer at our Masjid is led by well-renowned Sheikhs, to bring the Muslim community together. At our Masjid, we offer a separate place dedicated solely to our sisters where they can pray without any distractions or interruptions.
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: He who performed ablution well, then came to Friday prayer, listened (to the sermon), kept silence all (his sins) between that time and the next Friday would be forgiven with three days extra, and he who touched pebbles caused an interruption. (Sahih Muslim)
“The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur'an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey - then an equal number of other days. Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful.” [2: 185]
Iftar services are provided for over hundreds of Muslims—brothers and sisters including children—daily throughout the blessed month of Ramadan. This provides a great opportunity to meet and bond with fellow Muslims within and outside the city, further strengthening the ties of brotherhood. Tarawih Prayers are also offered daily throughout the month, performed by dynamic, young and experienced Hafizes with mesmerizing recitations.
